Untapped Tourism Potential

Mohamed Alabbar, a global leader in real estate, tourism, and hospitality, is seeking opportunities in Madagascar. The owner of Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall has expressed interest in the tourism sector of the island nation.

Mohamed Alabbar, founder of Emaar Properties, shared his optimism about the tourism and hospitality industry in Madagascar after a meeting with President Andry Rajoelina and several ministers at the State Palace in Iavoloha yesterday.

During a brief interview with the press, Mohamed Alabbar expressed his admiration for Madagascar’s tourism potential. As the head of Emaar Properties, Alabbar plays a significant role in various industries, particularly in real estate, tourism, and hospitality. He is one of the most prominent and influential entrepreneurs in the global real estate world.

Emaar Properties is among the few companies that have transformed Dubai into a global business and tourism hub, especially in luxury tourism. The company is behind the construction of Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest skyscraper, and Dubai Mall, the largest shopping center in the world. Other sectors such as agribusiness, energy, and infrastructure were also discussed during the working meeting at Iavoloha.
