Departure ceremony for these five students

Madagascar will be represented by five university students in this high-level international training. These students, from various universities and higher education institutions across the country, demonstrate the digital skills of young Malagasy people.

They will explore China further and return with valuable and beneficial experiences for the digital economy. The digital sector in Madagascar is beginning to take shape. Five students from Madagascar have been selected to participate in the LEAP Digital Talents Study Camp. In this international training program, young talents will engage in digital activities across various countries around the world.

This event will take place from November 17 to 24, 2024, in Shenzhen, China. The departure ceremony for these five students, who will represent Madagascar, was held yesterday at the Radisson Blu in Ambodivona. The participants include students from the Polytechnic School, the National School of Informatics, and MISA. The Leap Digital Talents research event is organized by the Chinese company Huawei.

It is a top-tier training program aimed at developing young talents in technological advancements and digitalization. This camp is part of the LEAP program (Leadership, Employability, Advancement, and Possibilities) created by Huawei to promote the rise of future digital leaders in sub-Saharan Africa. Through this experience, the students will have the opportunity to discover China’s digital landscape, visit cutting-edge technology companies, and participate in interactive workshops.
