Enhancing visitor experience
Nosy Be Marine National Park, a natural wonder of Madagascar, is entering a new phase with the launch of its digitalization project, funded by the « Mandrisika » fund.
During her field visit, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Rindra Hasimbelo Rabarinirinarison, accompanied by the Pic 3 team, praised this innovative project that enhances the visitor experience.
The « Nosy Tanikely National Park Digital Innovation » project includes the acquisition of interactive devices, particularly totems and desktop computers, to provide information and gather visitor feedback. Additionally, the creation of a website and an increased presence on social media will boost the park’s visibility. Beyond these advancements, surveillance cameras will be installed to improve security, and eco-friendly kiosks will be set up to increase revenue.
The park, a true economic model, finances its operations and continues to grow, with around 26,400 visitors recorded since January 2024, 70 % of whom are foreign tourists. This project highlights the benefits of environmental preservation and economic development, a point emphasized by the Minister, who underscored the importance of this independent management for the park’s future.
