Civil engineering and geoscience : 2nd edition of the geoforum

Leveraging opportunities in the geoscientific field

The second edition of the Geoforum is organized by the Union of Future Geological Engineers (UFIG) of the École Supérieure Polytechnique d’Antananarivo (ESPA). It will be held at the Mineral Business Centre in Mamory Ivato on 22 and 23 August.

This event, focusing on the theme « Geoscience for the Future », will bring together specialists, professionals, and decision-makers to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the geoscientific field in Madagascar.

The forum also commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Geological Engineering program at ESPA. Additionally, the Geoforum aims to enhance cooperation between the mining, energy, and environmental sectors, as well as public and private institutions in Madagascar. The event will feature masterclasses, conferences, exhibitions, stands, and project competitions.

The goal is to promote innovative methods for the sustainable management of natural resources. Madagascar’s economic development faces significant challenges, and this event presents an opportunity for innovation, fostering the creation of concrete solutions to advance the country’s progress.
