Encouraging innovation and best digital practices

The « Data Day Madagascar, » an initiative by the Ministry of Digital Development, Posts, and Telecommunications (MNDPT), took place on July 11 and 12.

The theme was « Managing Data to Transform Madagascar ». The workshop was streamed live on various digital platforms and addressed essential current topics for the country’s future. Key discussions included digitalization, knowledge sharing, and improved governance. This event brought together specialists from both the public and private sectors and served as a platform to encourage innovation and best digital practices.

In her opening speech, Minister Tahina Razafindramalo highlighted the benefits of « digitizing electronic data by ministries ». The MNDPT proposed various topics to help ministries understand the challenges related to this interoperability. This represents a significant step towards the modernization and efficiency of public services in Madagascar.
