World day for safety and health at work

Certificates awarded to participants in a writing contest

Certificates were awarded to participants of the writing contest by the Minister of Public Service, Administrative, and Institutional Reforms, Anjiv Ramdhany, in commemoration of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

The celebration took place on May 30 in Port Louis. This contest, launched in April, targeted students from Mauritian higher education institutions, including the University of Technology Mauritius, Middlesex University, the University of Mauritius, and the Mauritius Institute of Education. The event also acknowledged representatives from various ministries involved in the project.

Minister Anjiv Ramdhany emphasized the importance of workplace safety and health, particularly in light of this year’s theme, « Ensuring Safety and Health at Work in a Changing World ». The contest aims to foster innovative ideas, offering a platform for young people to make a tangible impact and become drivers of social change.
