7,000 USD reward for winning startups
The Mizunami Africa Foundation, in collaboration with NextA, the Axian group’s incubator, announces the launch of the « Mizunami Innovation Competition » on May 2, 2024. Succeeding the « Ninja Cup 2023, » this initiative aims to energize the Malagasy entrepreneurial ecosystem by nurturing innovation within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and micro-enterprises (TPEs).
Promising startups have a golden opportunity to compete. The three winners will each receive 7,000 USD in funding, along with a six-month intensive acceleration program at NextA. This personalized support, combined with NextA’s expertise, will provide access to a professional network and essential resources, ensuring long-term success.
The Mizunami Innovation Competition is accepting applications until May 31st. Eligible innovative businesses will present groundbreaking projects with significant impact, fostering job creation and aligning with sustainable development goals.
A jury composed of members from the Mizunami Africa Foundation and NextA will preselect candidates starting from June 1st. The finalists will be revealed on June 27th following a series of thorough interviews. Finally, the grand final pitch event, where the three winners will be announced, is scheduled for August 1st, 2024.
