Anticipating challenges and opportunities in Artificial Intelligence

An event highlighting the global significance of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly in Madagascar, occurred at IFM Analakely on April 24, 2024.

This workshop addresses the challenges and opportunities AI presents in the workplace. Organized by the ArkeUp group in collaboration with the Business Group of Madagascar (Gem) and the French Madagascar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFM), and with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development, Digital Transformation, and Telecommunications (MNDPT).

Concrete examples were conducted to showcase the implementation of AI within the company. These included tasks such as inventory management, email processing, and direct client communication. If not already, AI is poised to become an indispensable technology across various professional domains in Madagascar. According to Mbolatina Andriamanantsoa, Vice President and Spokesperson for Gem: « AI sparks excellent interest because we are convinced that the integration and adoption of this highly advanced technology can genuinely transform our companies and economy ».

The CCIFM stated: « We are amidst a technological revolution where AI is reshaping industry norms ». «We aim to democratize access to AI », emphasized Tahina Razafindramalo, Minister of MNDPT.
