Ms. Astride Tamatave has been appointed as the new Principal Secretary for Finance, effective March 11, 2024, according to an announcement from the Office of the President.
Tamatave, a Chartered Accountant with a Master’s Degree in Social Leadership and Strategy from the Institute of Public Administration, brings with her 16 years of professional experience in accounting and finance across both the private and public sectors.
Her career journey began in February 2008 as Acting Financial Controller at Printec Press Holding, followed by a move to the Ministry of Finance in August 2010, where she served as a Financial Analyst.
