Mauritius Telecom has announced the appointment of Kapil Reesaul, a seasoned telecommunications professional, as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), succeeding Sherry Singh. The appointment has received the green light from the Group’s Board of Directors.
Reesaul’s ascent to the top position at Mauritius Telecom is a testament to his deep-rooted connection with the company. Having dedicated his entire career to the state-owned enterprise, he currently serves as the Executive Commercial Director. His journey within the organization includes a stint as the Managing Director of Southern Telecom from 1998 to 2000 and later as the head of Telecom Plus in 2004.
Equipped with a DESS degree from the University of Science and Telecommunications (Networks and Cables), Reesaul brings a wealth of industry knowledge and leadership experience to his new role as CEO. His appointment signals a continuation of Mauritius Telecom’s commitment to innovation and service excellence in the telecommunications sector.
